How RR’s Employee Finder Works

What Is It?

RR’s Employee Finder is a free service that connects roofing subcontractors to less experienced roofers and labourers. Aside from saving money, it also saves time since only those interested in the trade will be listed in the database as potential employees.

Subcontractors are essentially business owners. When completing a project, a subcontractor has many responsibilities. Those that can delegate certain tasks to others will benefit in the long run. Firstly, delegation alleviates unhealthy levels of physical and mental stress. Secondly, delegation will strengthen the knowledge and experience of those working for you.

Who Uses It?

Job seekers who are interested in either starting or continuing a career in the roofing trade. An online application is completed and from that an employee profile is created. This profile is then added to the RR Employee Finder database where it can be viewed by registered Roofer Recource Subcontractors. Similar to other classifieds, the user can choose to be contacted by either email, anonymous email, or by phone.

Registered Subcontractors use the Employee Finder database to hire employees for their roofing crews. By having access to multiple profiles that display a worker's experience and abilities, the subcontractor can find the right person for their job opening.

Is the information collected secure and private?

Yes, your information is both secure and private. The data collected on Roofer Recourse is securely stored on servers that are protected from intruders. Confidential information such as full name, home address, birth date, etc., are not accessible to users of Roofer Resource, but it is still collected to ensure the integrity of the employment data.

How long does an employment profile stay listed on Roofer Resource?

An employee profile stays active for two weeks before a renewal is required. The renewal notice is sent to the user’s email once per week, and contains a link that if clicked confirms renewal. If the user chooses not to renew, the user’s profile will become automatically inactive.

Can a job seeker update their profile or remove it completely from the database?

Yes, any user of Roofer Resource can update or remove their profile at anytime.
